Sending Apteo segments to third party tools
Apteo makes it easy to segment your customers so you can send them personalized messaging. You can easily sync any of your segments to common email and SMS providers. This article describes how our integrations work and what you need to do to make sure your segments are always synced with your favorite email and SMS tools.
At the time of writing, Apteo supports syncing segments with the following tools:
Connect your tools to Apteo
The first step in syncing your segments is to create an integration between your email or SMS provider and Apteo. You can do this directly from the Integrations page on the Settings module, or by clicking on the Synchronize button on the Segment Details page.
From there, you will be asked to select the tool you'd like to integrate with, and from there you will need to go through the process of authorizing Apteo to access your account. For Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and Postscript, this is done by copying and pasting your private API key from the source into a field on Apteo.
After you have connected your messaging system to Apteo, you can then sync any segment to your source system by clicking on the "Sync Customers" button on the Segment Details page.
From here, you can easily name your segment in the messaging tool and Apteo will continuously keep that segment up to date based on your customers' purchases.
